Okay, I’m back in Los Angeles after a year of running a pop-up artists’ residence in Lawrence, KS. I had 70+ roommates, attended countless potlucks, and was named a 2014 Arts Entrepreneur of the Year. And while Kansas is many wonderful things, it is not a land of acting opportunity, hence the total blog silence. I did manage to sneak down to Austin for a week of work on Bob Byington’s feature 7 Chinese Brothers. Always a joy/terror to improvise on camera, and when you’re paired with such luminaries as Jason Schwartzman and Olympia Dukakis, it starts to enter the realm of bucket list material. Look for the film to hit the festival circuit in 2015.
